so glad to see some many people share frustration of telkom
has anyone read their terms and conditions???
well i applied on the 6th of sept for adsl after canceling because we would have move, in one week they have pulled our ports and guess what we had to wait until the 26th of nov for a new installions. apparently in their terms and conditions it states that their internal projects takes priority and their there turn around time on installions are not guarenteed. and you are not allowed to speak to the ceo as he does not speak to the public, according to his pa.......and then after the wait we still have issues

Wow ... I had to read this post a few times and still a bit confused ..... (well!! a bit is an under estimation maybe)

hi there...sorry bit confused typing...was posted in a bit of a rush....we had to wait from the 6th of sept till the 26th of nov for a reconnection of our adsl which we had for about a year and then cancelled and at the same address reconnected one week later after deciding not to move. intially it would have taken only 2wks....look how long we had to wait....and they kept on throwing back their terms and conditions which i have tried to read and still have no luck about how long the max turn-around time is...all they had to do is reconnect us we have been adsl users for so long......hope this helps the confusion....

So much for Telkom being customer centric. One of Telkom's great flaws is that there is no person to be held accountable. At least not one single person in every instance who can be complained to or about...

A customer centric organization will have easy and official options for customers to resort to in order to complain about a lack of service. If not their competition will simply eat them for breakfast.

Here we don't have either option. Yet.
