Now that we are down to four..
I see it as Germany vs Netherlands... With a German victory, what you guys rate?
 
Spain vs Netherlands. Spanish to win by 2 goals to 1...

Why?

All goals were by Villa... Germany has a hit dildo squad, than can tear through any ass. Seriously, solid attack and brilliant defence...
Uruguay doesn't have the Forlan Surez combo ...
Only the Netherlands has a chance..

Spain dictates every single game they play, their possession is stupid amazing. Teams are forced at times to have only 30% ball possession. Iniesta and Xavi have been unbelievable in this tournament. They also possess players that can flip a game at any given time.

I laugh at people saying that Spain only has Villa. How does Villa score those goals? Does he run through 11 players all by himself? Or does the entire team contribute to his goals?

Two quick examples:

How did Villa score against Portugal?

Iniesta's slick passing on the edge of the box who found Xavi, who back heeled the ball though to Villa who gave him a one on one with the keeper.

How did Villa score against Paraguay?

Iniesta's dribbling set him away, who passed to Pedro who shot against the bar, which fell to Villa who scored. Iniesta was the mastermind for that goal.

People should look at how goals are created instead of just looking who scored them.

I say Spain because I've been backing them and Bafana since the start of the World Cup. It would be rather bone-headed of me to change my tune because Netherlands are playing a little better than them. But then again, everyone I know thought Brazil were playing better football when they lost to Holland. In fact up until the 1st Netherlands goal, Brazil were looking unstoppable. They imploded after that though...

Kark. There have been a few occasions that the Spanish have looked likely to concede. Are you honestly going to tell me that they've only looked like conceding once, on the one occasion that they actually did? You're smoking French socks if that's the case...

I think you need to watch the games a little more in depth and double check your stats. I haven't done so myself, however I'll put my head on a block if Spain have controlled 70% of the possession in any of their games, let alone all of their WC final games.

Start being a little more neutral about these discussions where Spain is involved. As much as I too am a Spanish supporter in this world cup, it's bloody frustrating have you jump into each and every thread and proclaim Spanish dominance in every single aspect of every single game. You do it in EPL threads too with your La Liga obsession and it just thwarts discussion or ends it and replaces it with arguing and bitching...

Netherlands are NOT playing good football, that's the thing. They've grinded out every single match of this world cup so far.

I was refering to the Switzerland game. I thought i made that very clear in my post.

Spain usually get just over 60% possession. Too bad you find it frustrating, just stating the truth.

I find that if I watch a game that one of my teams plays in, my team loses. It's happened with Italy, Portugal and Japan. I also support the Netherlands....I intentionally didn't watch the Brazil game and, suprise suprise, we won.
