Download from iTunes and sync with your iPad... Yes it does. You can track it from icloud.com or another iDevice

I thought this was some kind of fun game where you hide your ipad and we have to try and find it, o well.

You can log onto iCloud from a Windows machine or Mac.
Tried using my cell phone (nokian97) to log into cloud.com to see if I can find my iPad,
Not working and laptop at work,
Guess il wait till Monday to see if it works, would have been nice I'f I could view on my cell phone

You don't really need to install the app. If you running IOS 5, got to Settings>iCloud and enable "find my IPhone"
The app is used of you wanna track devices etc (basically the same interface u would get from loggin into iCloud on a Pc/Mac.

^ that just about sums it up, remember to leave cellular data enabled for the app to be effective. Make use of a pass code lock as an extra measure of security too.
The app itself is epic, used it to find out where someone went a while back
