Hi everyone

I know it is not a lot of money, but can one still find a decent used car in the R80k-R90k price range?

If so, where do one start looking?

Depending on your definition of "decent"(unless you are a complete snob) you could get some really good older cars for that price. Start at the usual place cars.co.za, gumtree, webuycars....

Lots of Mazda's in that price range.

Yap. I will try to look for local sales and do your home work properly on what to look out for. Got some advice from the forum here:

Most of the dealerships in my area are snakes and ridiculous prices for secondhand vehicles, ended up asking my local mechanic and got a Hyundai Accent 1.6 2006 model with 37 000 km's for 60K.
