Seems to be ok.
I have a lung disease.
And on oxygen and the one at Dischem unfortunately is not recommended for medical use only for sports activities.
Percent of blood hemoglobin that is saturated by oxygen.Too lazy to google it now, what does this meter test and what can you do to change the value of the reading.

They require motivational letter from the Pulmonologist plus blood test results of oxigen levels and a two quotations to present to their board for authorisation.Does medical aid pay?
Sounds like it's worth doing, to get the proper equipment. They require motivational letter from the Pulmonologist plus blood test results of oxigen levels and a two quotations to present to their board for authorisation.
To add on what Sinbad and jphegers said.Too lazy to google it now, what does this meter test and what can you do to change the value of the reading.

You would need a continuous flow concentrator and they are quite pricey, between R65000 and R90000 but my medical aid only covers R23250 of the cost so too expensive for me right now. With the above quoted SPO2 levels, I am doomed with my COPD as my reading without supplementary oxygen lies
between 75% and 80%.
Thanks for finding a supplier right here in Gauteng as my oximeter packed up a few weeks ago and Gearbest is not performing with their delivery.
Has someone experience with portable oxygen concentrators, are they worth their expense?
Are these portable pulse concentrators no good? They are available from R26000.You would need a continuous flow concentrator and they are quite pricey, between R65000 and R90000 but my medical aid only covers R23250 of the cost so too expensive for me right now.
Wow, 75%? Is that accurate? Thought you'd be dead if that was accurate, everything online says should be higher than 90% or head to the A&E or ER.With the above quoted SPO2 levels, I am doomed with my COPD as my reading without supplementary oxygen lies
between 75% and 80%.
