FireFly 10th Anniversary Special

This just makes me sad. Loved the series. The movie was OK.

Should never have been cancelled. :(

I watched the 10 year anniversary with my wife last night and she wanted to watch Firefly afterwards. Mission accomplished!

for those without video @ work, what's it about? new episodes or just a bunch of "oh I remember this!" crap?

Ten years that's scary!!

Check out this look at the Science Channel's Firefly: Browncoats unite special, as the cast and crew ponder whether there could be more Firefly some day.
Just a one minute clip, where they say how they all still love it and that you should never say never when it comes to more episodes.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Firefly just as much as the next guy and would have loved it if more of it was made. I prefer to keep thinking about it in that mindset. Would anybody still have loved it if it was ridden to death, much like Supernatural is? Nobody starts a show with the intention of flogging it to death and making it into a completely overcommercialized ball of excrement (Grey's Anatomy, I'm talking to you). Had Firefly been renewed for a second season, it might have turned into just another soap opera.

Look at Heroes - first season was awesome. I remember watching an episode and thinking that this has been the absolute best thing I have ever seen on TV. Had it stopped after season 1, it would have been great. Instead, it was continued and turned into drivel. Prison Break?

I hope this makes sense and that somebody would at least agree with me...

True, far too many shows out there replayed over and over like CSI or Stargate series.
