Seems a web design company got involved with this version, to me it seems to be just another skin but I guess there is more to it. noscript still works with it

This week Amber and I talk with two designers from Radiant Core, the firm responsible for the new user interface in Firefox 2.0. We discuss new features in the browser and the challenges of making something attractive, easy to use, and cross platform.

A difference I noticed, if you get too many tabs for the width of you browser arrows appear on the left and right of the tabs so they all move off to the left and right to show those hidden tabs

How about stealing another feature from Opera nad just getting a Stop/Refresh button in one? Its so much better, I mean the one is obviously useless while you can use the other...

Anyway, I like the new design, just looks a bit more modern than the old FF skin, which was a bit bad looking if you ask me.. and I've never really found a skin that I like using.

I'm currently using Firefox 2 RC3 and one thing I found is that when you click on open in new tab there isn't a quick way to go to that tab if you have more than 9 tabs open (1024*768) as the new tab is now hidden and isn't the most far right tab as was the case in the Firefox 1. In IE7 clicking in open in new tab opens the new window directly next to the previously opened tab.

When I type in this quikc reply boxx I get red lines under the worrds which are wrong - am I correct that this is new with this version of firefox or is it vbulletin?

Its new with Firefox. It has build-in spell checking.

anyone seen a way to get the 'close' button for a tab back to the right hand side, as opposed to one on every tab?
i kinda preferred it the 'old' way, but it doesn't seem as though it can be changed?
