Firefox 29.0.1 vs Firefox 30.0 beta 3 ?

Well I've contacted a firefox developer regarding an issue that I"m having with Firefox 30.0 beta 3.

My downloads go incredibly slow ... eg. 80 MB download says it will take 2 hours to download



while Firefox 29.0.1 and other versions of firefox say 80 MB download will take 20 minutes or less.

Can anyone explain what is wrong with FF 30.0 beta 3 ?

Is anyone having any issues ?

Response from a firefox person gave me the changelog information for FF 30.0 beta 3 , but didn't answer my question.

No problems with FF downloads, you are running a beta version anyway, maybe try:

Thanks - I'm familiar with internetdownloadmanager (IDM) , but any other version than FF 30 beta 3 does not give hassles regarding downloads. Download speeds are normal.

Yeah I think I'm just going to uninstall this beta crap and re-install FF 29.0.1

Of all the things that I need the most - I definitely don't want slow downloads ...
