I've noticed every time I access STD Bank internet banking, the FF password 'manager' pops up to "remember the password" etc. Every time I click 'Never for this site" but alas next time it asks again. Haven't tried other "password related" sites though...
What am I doing wrong

The Standard bank site might have a randomizing string in its URL... so everytime you go there it thinks it is a new site.

Click on Tools Menu and choose Options. Click on the Security Tab and then "Exceptions" under the middle section. See if Standard Bank is listed there (it should be). If it is not... then click on saved passwords.. if it is there then remove it and try to make it an exception again.

You're right. I've done what you've suggested and still it kept asking me, then I noticed every time I access IB the URL changes, e.g https://www22.encrypt.standardbank.co.za or https://www23.encrypt.standardbank.co.za etc.

Thanks for the help though ;)

Tools> Options> Security > remember passwords for sites, remove the tick ;)

This doesn't mean you can't access myadsl or your favourite sites, since the log in info is stored on a cookie.
