firefox and adobe reader

got adobe 9.
Download pdf files and read it.

Then install photoshop cs3, and there are adobe 8 on.
When open a pdf from the net with firefox, a error message, and my pdf closes.
Can one tell firefox to open the pdf with adobe 9 somewhere.
