Firefox blank pages tcpIQ issues etc

Has anyone else found that firefox does not want to load gmail (blank page displayed), or tcpIQ does not want to run the test anymore (the scheduled test hangs), and the manual test pops up a message that the proxy server is killing the upload connection before enough data could be transferred to complete the test, or something like that and then the rest of the test hangs infinitely [or maybe a little less] :D

Firefox also displayed a blank page on another website. IE seems to work better then.

I dont know if the sentech upload speed test is going to finish any time soon. It also seems to be hanging.

Apart from that web browsing seems to be relatively quick.

I have been experimenting with DNS servers, after all the DNS errors earlier this week. Maybe I broke something? :rolleyes:
 
I can never get Firefox to load Yahoo.com for some reason, I'm able to load it in IE though, very strange...
 
Well while on the subject, Yahoo (and only Yahoo) crashes my Firefox about 90% of the time. I wonder what is wrong. I saw that it was reported as a bug on Mozilla's bug page so I hope it's sorted out with the next patch. Until then, using IE for Yahoo :D
 
Using FireFox 1.5.0.1, and have no problems at all with GMail. The others I can;t report on, since I've never tried! :D

Edit: Oops! Only now realised this is in the MyWireless forum! :o I'm on dial-up, so don't worry about this info...

Hmmm, nevermind, seems to work fine at work, sooo, I guess my PC at home is unhappy about something...

BAHAHA, Hmmm. OK, sooooo, I should be at work more, to read my email. Sounds like permission to do more mailing and browsing at work. I like it!!!! :p

Thanks noswal, gmail works again at home, PC needed a reboot it seems.

But! the Sentech upload speed test and tcpIQ still hangs.

I get the idea the upload speed is below 0.5kB/s. Im trying to prove it.. And then get bored and distracted..
 
Sigh... Sentech upload test works on my notebook, so theres something wrong with my PC.. Pretty weird. I played around with MTU (& rwin etc) but it doesn't seem to be that either.

ON NO!!!! Its working on my PC now too... I give up! :D
