Firefox browser: Version 1.5 is out!

Why isn't this on Slashdot, Cnet, or any of the other big news sites?

It isn't even on mozilla.org...

what is the difference between that and 1.0.7 which I currently use
Been using the 1.5 beta, and while I don't see any major differences, there are a few nice features:
- It can update itself ... this should improve security for end-users
- If you open a .html file from outside FF, it will open into a new tab, not replace an existing tab
- "Tools / Clear Private Data" can be used to quickly clear your history/cache etc. if others use your computer and you don't want them to know what sites you're visiting

Oh yes, forward/back are also faster.

Thanks to Telkodemonopoly/SAIX and the 1st November price increases, I am very close to being [hard] capped at 3GB, and I cannot afford to purchase additional bandwidth for the purpose of downloading anything until Thursday 1st December when I get another whole 3GB to use very sparingly and whip myself with a personal cap of 100MB per day...what fun...thanks sooo much meneer Raucous van TelkodemonopolyInternet - and I still refuse to use your anti-competitive monopoly as my ISP - to eternity.
I would have thought the last day of the month would be EXACTLY the right time to start a big download (with a download manager so you can resume). Use up that last drop of petrol, test the system to its limit, you never know, it may surprise you.
