Firefox help

how did you do that? :)
i've tried to duplicate what you're seeing on my firefox, but no luck.
perhaps an extension that's misbehaving?

have you tried creating another firefox profile and see if it happens on that profile as well?

Seems your chrome file is corrupted, locate your chrome.rdf file in your firefox profile.
I have no idea where it is on windows, on linux it would be ~/.mozilla/firefox/<profile>/chrome/chrome.rdf

Back it up somewhere, then delete the file.
Restart FX.
Hope it works :)

Eish i have uninstalled and deleted everything in the directory - reinstalled and still no luck.......:(

Yep ... his chrome is buggered ... it happened to me when I installed 1.5 over my 1.07 profile.

The only solution for me was to backup my bookmarks.html and delete my old profile folder and do a fresh install of 1.5 and restore the booksmarks and then install my theme and favourite addons again.

well, to create a new profile, edit the "target" of your firefox desktop shortcut to include
" -profilemanager" at the end. when you run firefox from the shortcut, it will now open the profilemanager, from where you can create a new profile.

if that doesn't work, you would probably have to uninstall firefox, delete the profile folder, and reinstalling, like tibby said...

edit: sorry craigsa, didn't read your previous post properly. did you just delete the firefox folder in "program files" after uninstalling, or the profile folder as well?
