FireFox : Is it faster than IE

Ive downloaded FireFox and seem to think that webpages and stuff load much, much faster than when I use Internet Explorer...

I did a browser 'speed test' the other day. I opened the same site in IE, Firefox and Opera. The results speak for themselves: 14sec in IE, 8.4sec in Firefox and 7.8sec in Opera.

And what do you think of thunderbird?

I use Thunderbird on my laptop. It's lacking some basic features but it's getting better with each release. The built in junk mail filter is definitely one of its better features. Since installing, I've sent and received a few thousand messages. My only complaint is that it could be a bit faster on startup.
