Firefox not updating

It wont update to 3.0.5 It says connecting to update server and thats all it does,It doesn't download-connect to the update server

Just install it as a non-update. Just don't delete your old version and the new one will install over the old one keeping all your preferences, bookmarks etc.

That's what happened when I tried anyway...
