Hi all,

Scenario:

I'm already logged into a site, let's say Facebook, & I want to see what password is used, how do I do that?

Remember:

I chose to NOT save or remember passwords via Firefox

Username & password have been typed in MANUALLY

Isn't there a way to right-click "View Element" or something from within the browser?

Thanks guys

No - that would imply your password is stored locally in plain text by each website. Super dodge and unsecure. Firefox has awful built-in security by default, as anyone can view all your stored passwords with a few clicks.

I use LastPass and you should too. Very secure and nothing but one password to remember. And two-factor authentication means people can't use your account even if they get your master password somehow.

my one password , on firefox is the wrong one, firefox updates it, but not.

I know in chrome you can check all your passwords. That is, save in chrome.

Still not close to as convenient and secure as a service like LastPass, so why bother. No point limiting your passwords to one browser.

this method works only if you have the password in the password field and you change the html element for the password field from password to text.. but in your case its useless since you dont save the password and type it in manually so you already know the password..
