Firefox problem, delay

I open firefox, i wait 5 min and then it opens after another 10sec of "not respondin"

whats wrong? right now im using IE, i hate it

Did you reinstall and use ccleaner

re-installing fixed it until i restarted the app

I've been experiencing this for over a year now - random instances of Firefox not responding for around 10-20 seconds each time. This is on my home PC as well as my laptop. Even after formatting, I still experience the random freezes. Both PCs have Vista installed, btw.

Still haven't found a solution - I just learned to live with it, but Firefox 3 is just around the corner so hopefully it's fixed.

start, programs and Mozilla Firefox choose the safe mode one

hey reminds me of the counless threads i posted all over the internet including on Mozilla forum about my Firefox problem with vista.
I also had the problems like boramk,i cant remember what fixed it but it was a memory leak problem and only certain vista users get it...

I upgraded to ultimate with a different dvd and i think this fixed my problem.
Check the Mozilla forum,they very helpfull
