Firefox to launch its own standalone VPN

Mozilla is set to launch a standalone VPN service for Windows 10 devices.

Like other virtual private networks, the Firefox Private Network (FPN) encrypts a user’s data traffic and hides their location from websites and ad trackers.

Mozilla previously announced a beta of FPN would be available as a Firefox browser extension to a limited number of testers in the United States.
 
Read that a while back already...so what's the hold up.

My firefox does better on ram then chrome but that is not saying much

They all hogs.
In bed with major ram and hard disk manufacturers... suspected it decades ago.
And we won't even start with OS's...
Makes total financial sense .

FF Quantum seems to be slightly less of a hog than Chrome. I also really like the ByPass Paywall add-on for FF Quantum (not sure if it is available on Chrome).
 
Until Firefox can render text smoothly on Windows I'm really not interested.
