I share a Firefox profile across Win7 and 3 Linux installs. This has been working swimmingly for the better part of some 5 years.However I noticed today that I have lost (on this forum) the buttons to start a New Thread, Edit posts, Quote Posts etc. That is, the buttons that are normally in the blue roundish shaped buttons.

Is there anything within those buttons that would trigger something like NoScript or AdBlock to not show them? I have even disabled these add-ons but still the buttons do not appear.

Lol but seriously, try clearing all your private data (Cache, cookies, etc.) and restart FF and see if that works. This has happened to me before and this method I mentioned worked for me.

So how did you start a new thread if you don't have the button to do so?
