Funny how people can watch movies that promote Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist agenda's but if it promotes Christian values then they get upset.

They can? Can you cite some examples? I'm particularly interested in those from Buddhist groups determined to impose their religion on everyone through the making of laws. Perhaps a group of Shaolin monks that are lobbying to have martial arts made mandatory in all schools?

At least some of those religions have a clear message. Christianity is a quagmire of The Bible and other people's personal beliefs/interpretation of what it should more. Further to this, it is hardly ever presented in a clear concise way, but more-over by zealous bigots who gives the rest of Christians a bad name, and therein lies my problem.

As far as I'm aware it's not illegal to express one's opinions and religious beliefs via the media.

What confounds me is the idea that people need a rulebook to be honest, kind and understanding with your partner. To me, it is blatantly obvious how another human should be treated. If a movie like fireproof helps a person in their relationship, then I would imagine there is a deeper problem that needs to be dealt with.

Treat your partner as you would like to be treated. Simple.

Sometimes people need to be reminded. Things can get pretty bent out of shape when you've been with someone for many years and it's easy to lose perspective.

The movie is lame..but the content is great & you do make the effort to read the book and apply it it cannot but work...but yea, for those in an unhappy marriage, try it, even if you have to look past the "christianification"
