so i have a 5G router from Rain, i cant change dns settings on the router so i cant use a Web based service to block websites that my kids visit, there is a option on the router but it only allows up to 16 URL filters which is not enough, cannot use a 3rd party firewall because rain will not give me the static IP details.

What do you guys suggest i use ? want something that i could use on VM prehaps ?

Really you cant pick your own DNS... Thats odd and rather limiting of Rain. Other than enter static DNS and IP's if required on all devices you can use anything capable of creating a transparent bridge and hijack all DNS requests and resolve them yourself. So this would work https://scoop.co.za/mikrotik-hap-mini-2-4ghz-1-5dbi-3-port-ethernet-wifi-router-rb931-2nd.html

Mikrotik can do the job but that one would limit your connection to 100Mbps - check for a slightly higher spec on which has gig ports like this one

Oh and these solutions depend on you having another system to do the WIFI in the LAN - if you are using the 5G CPE for wifi then you're kinda stuck with that they have provided
