Firewall settings

Please help, i have recently joined the world of ADSL. I am on the 192/64 package. How do i change my firewall settings to enhance down- and uploads.

I have an ADSL broadband router from telkom

What Firewall you using ?
Do you want to increase your Download and slow down your upload ?

firewall is for protection not for optimizing your internet connection and downloads. You can block/unblock things by using firewall, but you cannot speed up or slow down things by using firewall. There are some means of restricting up/down speed (besides your hardware/line limitations) which you can use.
