Firewall Test

Not everyone is enamoured of GRC. See grcsucks.com. A site I found via Google some time ago (I used internet security as the search term) is http://www.auditmypc.com/. I mention it only because its firewall test demonstrates a useful point - using nothing but Java - for people who think that sitting behind a firewall means their data is safe. You could also try http://www.hackerwhacker.com/

Remember your software settings, spyware, virus protection, etc. Especially if you're running Windows.

What firewall are you using ?

The only thing that can get past my firewall to "see" my internal IP is Java - which is why I don't enable it by default.

Try smoothwall or something like that - if you use it with a combo of Zonealarm, your pretty damn safe, so long as your not running any services like httpd or sshd that can be accessed via your external IP and so long as you keep your firewall patches up to date and of course your internal PC's

Cwonderboom, I know there are some sites I used a while back to test for open ports and send a flood of packets to my own firewall - just to test if I had set it up properly and how good the firewall was, I'm looking through my bookmarks to find those links, I will post them in the following thread:
