Has anyone managed to get Smoothwall v3 (http://www.smoothwall.org/) and/or Endian (http://www.endian.com/en/community/) working with iBurst?

If not then I declare a challenge, lol... I've tried everything I know but I just cannot get it right, and I so have a fair amount of experiance with linux.

All are the latest versions, IPCop seems to work perfectly, been using it for 2 months without a problem... Smoothwall connects, but does not hold the connection for mare that 5 min at a time and I have to reset the UTD... Endian does not connect at all, why, I just don't know... I find this strange because both Smoothwall and Endian carry IPCop blood.

If anyone can shed some light, I'll be forever in your debt. :D

I've only ever used IPCOP with iBurst at my old high school, and though initially it was a pain, it's running much better since I updated it for them. I wanted to actually migrate to Smoothwall, since it has a much better and bigger community, as well as mods. If SW doesn't stay connected though, I may have to scrap that idea.

IPCop is a fork from Smoothwall.

I have no idea as to why you have issues getting v3 to work with iBurps... haven't had the chance to play with it on iBurps yet.

I honestly cannot figure it out...

Just donwloaded 500 megs of Astro Internet Security, and even that does not connect, the result from that seems to be that same I get from Endian.

The logs seem to always say something along the lines of "No response to PAP authenticate-requests"

In smoothie's case, it connects, but drops the connection after 5 min and I have to reset the iburst terminal for its next 5 min session.

I'm really in the dark about this one.
