First time poster so please be gentle
I have the old white desktop iburst modem , and speed was....okay..ish, and 1 of my buddies said that i had to update the firmware to get a more stable connection(i stay in Cape Town) so i was feeling adventerous and thought hay this seems easy, i can do this. Well when i updated it, i followed the instructions to the T, making sure the USB was plugged in , and praying that there were no power cuts while updating. Everything went smoothly, or so i thought. The moment i finished updating, all the green lights just dropped(along with my hopes of oneday going into the IT industry) all that remains now is regret and 2 lights on the modem (orange in colour) I tried to leave it unplugged for a day, and re-installing the firmware again, but no change. Is there anyway//anyhing i can do to reset the modem? I will gladly settle for the 2 green lights i had before :-(
