wee bit off topic...

but how can i flash my w810i to get rid of the vodaphone software....

seems like a piece of cake if you live overseas, so long as you can lay your hands on a cruiser cable.... but that doesnt seem possible here in sa.

anyone pulled it off? my boets got the same phone with the genuine ericsson software and man its so much nicer.... why ruin such a nice phone with branded software?

has anyone locally pulled it off? will the standard usb cable work?
 
I'm thinking of getting a w810. How's the phone in general. Battery life, ease of use and most importantly the quality? Been using Nokia for ages now but lately their quality dropped and I don't want to support them any more.
 
And if its only the icons you want changed you can do one better, use FAR manager and customise all your icons to even better than the standard icons.;)

Its the most customiseable phones in my opinion!;)

Dude, you could've just taken it to Vodacare and they would've done it for you...FREE OF CHARGE.
 
lol tried that.... as said before, unless you have hooked up with the right person there, they look at you like you crazy :) like why would you want to remove the vodalive software???? lol
