Hi Peeps

I am going to PE next week Wednesday and I have never seen a 3d movie yet and the only show that is in 3d is piranha, ster kinekor: the bridge

If you have seen it or any other 3d movie I have a couple of Questions.

If you have seen piranha 3d
3d experience?

3D in general
Most excellent viewing seats?

Buy the way I wear prescription glasses.

Or must I wait until next time I go to PE and watch a different movie?

Thankx

Best viewing seats are from the middle going down, don't know about piranha but there are some decent 3D movies coming later in the year, Tron Legacy and such

3D is ok the first time as a novelty, but then it wears off. I always find it harder to concentrate on the movie because you're more focused on the 3D.

Piranha is ok - nothing special in the way of a story but it's good fun, along the lines of Jaws, Deep Blue Sea, Lake Placid and those types of movies.

I really enjoyed my 3D movie experience. Though I admit I was extremely fascinated by the 3D itself and less so about the movie, it was that good.

Agree with Mike regarding the distraction.

However, its pretty awesome when done properly; something I feel should stay in the cinemas for various reasons.

Sitting in the center, not too close to the screen seems best for me :D

I was a bit disappointed in Piranha in 3D. Could of had better effects. Although the scene of two naked woman swimming together made up for it :D

And Jackass 3D :D :D

Piranha had some of the worst special effects and acting I have ever seen in a movie. Rather save your first 3D experience for something with a bit more substance.

Just phoned Ster kinekor: the bridge alpha & omega 3D is also showing

So what do you think I must watch Alpha & Omega 3D or Piranha 3d

I have just got my tickets for both Alpha & Omega 3D & Piranha 3d for tomorrow and wednesday

So I hope The 3d from both movies will equal what I missed in Avatar :-)
