First Aid Course

I looking to do a first aid course sometime in the next few months. I have Googled and found details for a few places that I'm going to phone in the week.

I would just like to find out: Has anyone here done a first aid course before? If so where? I would prefer to try do it somewhere where other people have been so I know more or less what to expect.
