Loncin assuming it's the supermotard configuration with road tyres.

The other two are scooters and I'm not that fond of small wheels.

Same for me, I don't think I could ride a scooter.

General rule is never use a secondhand helmet.

How much are you planning to use it daily? I've heard that the Chinese-made engines don't last much past 20 000km. Of course there will be exceptions (before anyone jumps up and tells me they've put 100 000 trouble-free km on their Chinese scooter) but the bike mechanics I know are contantly telling me about how bad the chinese engines are for longevity and reliability in the long run.

Not more than 15km surely, yeah I've been warned about them too!

Whatever you do - DON'T buy a Jon Way!!!!! Made that mistake when I got one for my son - he just started at Centurion college & needed transport!
The dealerships I dealt with, Kyalami Cycles & Pitstop in Centurion were useless in fixing simple faults, like battery not charging! Not selecting gears properly & both didn't want to honor their warranty! I even wrote up to the Jon Way headoffice & told Director, was going to take it up with their overseas supplier. He showed little interest & passed buck backwards & forwards! At one time I even felt like tossing a petrol bomb into Pitstop offices! Owner could see I was getting annoyed & finally fixed after 3 x repeat trips & 6 weeks later.
Got rid of it as quick as I could thereafter!

Have you looked at any second hand Japanese bikes in a similar price range? With a bit of bargaining you could probably get hold of a Honda E-storm or Yamaha YBR125 for 6k. They'd be far more reliable than a Chinese bike or scooter.
