First time car buyer

The one I'm interested in buying has FSH and is basically spotless - you can see it has been well looked after. So I'm not too worried about maintenance. Besides - I have contacts :whistle:
 
How much will the insurance pay out for your stolen car? You can add that to the money you have for the deposit and get something nicer. Remember the more you can put down as deposit, the easier you will get finance.

i had a mazda bakkie which used like the same parts but also another friend told me the ford isnt that great

but for a person on a budget its toyota or golf

Had that too. Because the car is X years old we can only do finance over 3/4 years. Which means higher repayments.

Ford and Mazda used to and still do share platforms but they will be parting ways soon.

Oh, and a friend told you huh? So I'm not a friend? Fine, be like that :p

My previous car was a Fiesta; it's a no-frills, straightforward 4-cylinder jobbie. The engine is compact but there are no really-complicated parts. I'm sure that your contacts can service it.
