Hello,
I'm a first time Linux user after getting myself a raspberry pi.
Now I've played around with the pi for the last few months trying out different use scenarios. All of this has been following the instructions found online. I've had great success with this with everything working.
Now I want to dedicate my pi as a DLNA renderer. Following these instructions: http://blog.scphillips.com/2013/01/using-a-raspberry-pi-with-android-phones-for-media-streaming/ I have a fully functioning machine that does what I want, the only problem I have is that the boot time on Raspbian is about 40seconds. This is less than perfect when you want to listen to music.
To solve this issue I've tried to switch to Arch Linux as the boot time is much faster. How do I translate the instructions in the link above to work on Arch? I'm struggling to even find all the packages need to get Gstreamer to work.
