I've been on prepaid for years and wanna move to contract. Probably anytime 200.

I'm a bit weary of MTN billing issues. How many people actually get such issues?

Are they easy to get resolved when they do happen?

I activated an add-on 2Gb data bundle with confirmed ref no. and everything... only to find a month down the line i have used almost 2Gb OUT OF BUNDLE data ~ R4000.00 ... although they have ackknowledged the misake, all I can get is a credit note, so they basically stole my money.

Yes, if you bolt-on data to your contract you are running a huge risk. For voice and sms the issues are few. A friend of mine had some issues with the debit order date and the system wrongfully picking up that she was always overdue, but nothing major.

I assume you already have a phone if you were on prepaid. You could then get the Anytime 200 for R99 per month.
Also make sure to join Loyaly Points. You will get 200+ points per month free and every 1000 points e.g. gets you a 200 sms bundle which carries over indefinitely.

I dropped my phone into a bucket of water...

I'm already registered with loyalty points.

That HTC Disire HD looks delicious.
