Do you arrange socials where it's woman only (besides tea parties here and there) where husbands are not included and visa versa on weekends? Im talking dinners with friends etc... Normal Friday / Saturday night activities. To us weekends are quality FAMILY time. What's your thought??

Yes, for my sanity. Going shopping with my sister & friends, inviting the girls from work over (yes for tea),spa visits etc. Husband goes to paintball or MTB trails with his guys etc. It isn't a regular scheduled thing that leads to zero family time on weekends though. But it is often enough that one can maintain good social ties & a sense of self beyond being half of a couple.

I'd go all "Gone Girl" if I didn't have time away from DH with my own friends.

What about Friday and Saturday evenings though?

Yes, the wifey does, but not like every weekend. More like every couple of months or so. Her friends' schedules are not quite synchronised, so that's a limiting factor, I think.

I don't really follow a schedule. If something pops up we'll discuss it and I'll almost certainly go, otherwise it's our time or my alone time (we both need plenty of alone time, so it works out well).

This. I think it is healthy for a relationship.

yeh, my wife often goes to girls whatever they do night/day thingies. I don't care what day of the week, can be weekend, actually weekends better. Lately they've been doing like couples events and I refuse point blank to go. Not my friends don't drag me in.
