Hey guys,

I have an accounting degree and have been in the accounting profession for 9 years, I'm wondering if there is a 'support' group for people studying Computer Science at Unisa (whats app, telegram etc)?

Then are all the Computer Science modules now year modules?

Will it be possible to take all the first year subjects while having an 8-5 job and passing(i.e I know this is relative, so what i'm asking is, how would you rate the difficulty of the first year compared to for instance the final year)

I have been doing courses on udemy for the past 3 months on Python and SQL and feel that has given me a good intro

All year modules, Telegram group with hundreds or thousands of students.

Go fer it. I worked 9-4 and passed almost every module in my various degrees with 75+.

In telegram you can search unisa and find 'unisa groups bot'. You can use that and follow the instructions to search groups for specific modules.

At the end of the day it is up to you to make it work with having a 8-5 job. If you are dedicated to this route and can motivate yourself then go for it. If you come home tired every night and can't focus on anything besides the TV you're going to struggle.
