I want to make a "Gly Rietvlei" trace. The problem is I can't find the "sinker" they use in that trace. It's hard to explain what it looks like so pls see attached link. Anyone know where I can get a few of these?

The picture is a little further down on that page. This weight is used instead of a Wirebomb. No idea what it's called or where to get it :(

edit:
Previous link didn't work so I uploaded the picture on to MyBB

What is the benefit of that particular shape sinker (Especially the bulge at the bottom)? Can't you just substitute the egg sinkers used by bass fishermen for Carolina rigs?

thats a pretty basic rig, and any sinker can be used....that rig doesnt depend on the sinker shape at all....as all its really doing is keeping one hook on the bottom, and one hook slightly higher....

if you're going for carp this will work just as well as a miele-bomb wirebomb jobbie....so dont fret about the sinker, its no biggie.
