Fishing spots in PTA

Anyone know any good, clean fishing spots in PTA, or any good sites around the Hartebeespoort dam area?

Or drive a little further than Harties and go to Buffelspoort. Very nice place.

Fishing still allowed at those two places?

We've done lots of picnics at Rietvlei but never fishing.
And Bronkies was being turned into an estate of some sorts the last time I was there.

Thing i'll give Rietvlei a go and its closer to me than Hartbeespoort dam is.
According to their website they do allow fishing as well.

By the way what was the entrance fee if i may ask.

If you just want to chill out over a few beers with some buddies / your son then try Footloose Trout Farm. Yes it is like shooting fish in a barrel but it is cool.

My son loves the place. Just off the N14 on your way to Sandton ... I think the road is the R511.
