As the title suggests, I'm no where near being fat, but I have not really done any meaningful exercise in 4 years at least. I went for a check up to the doctor the other day. After taking my pulse and heartbeat he is under the impression that I am actually very healthy for someone that does just about nothing with my free-time other than read, party and chasing tail. Ironically I haven't been really sick for about 8 years or so, I just don't get sick. However I'm under the impression that I won't be this lucky forever therefore I must improve on my fit und gesundheidslevel.

So here is the deal, I got some time, about 2-3 hours per day actually for at least the next 2 years that I want to turn into being a healthy human being. How do I go about it?

I need a nice workout plan, I am aware that it won't be easy at first but I believe it is worth putting my time in and I know I can manage the endurance.

Any tips and advice would be appreciated, prices as well :)
I am based in snor city PTA if you know any places to direct me too. I'm thinking of starting this coming weekend.

This is more a pc/internet related forum. Is called myBroadBand. We usually sit in front of our computers most of the time. Honestly, you'll be better of to ask that in a more outdoors related forum like 4x4 or something. Further, disclosing your age and sex ;) will help too.

Most people get bored very quickly of going to gym. You can still join but since you sound as if you're in this for the long run, I'd suggest you find suitable alternatives to mix it up with:
Why not join a club: Tennis / Running / Hockey / Action Cricket / Martial Arts (different kinds, if you're looking for fitness and cardio I'd suggest Muay Thai / Kickboxing)

I've been with friends to a couple of hockey clubs, and apart from having a blast on the field, there always socializing afterwards... Much more fun than picking up heavy pieces of metal in front of a mirror IMO

Jog to the bottle store and back with 2 cases of beer every day. It keeps me fit.

I think the best type of fitness is a functional fitness from something like kickboxing (high paced and physical). You'll get much fitter (just try go 5 x 3min rounds), stronger, and you'll feel safer. Plus you'll find out how bad the average joe is at fighting.

Come to think of it, there is actually a Martial Arts gym close to my house, I don't know which style it is, but I'm all for making friends in the process.
