Good points bro, and i agree wholeheartedly with you! I'm not against technology in any way, it provides a valuable means of easier living and can provide information that can be made relevant to people, like how you example solves the problem of distance. Like i said technological advancement is good, but not JUST the only way, like you say, its not the magic bullet, but it does indeed help. But the trickle down effect i still have issue with, and your right that obsolete technology is only obsolete from a certain perspective. Trickle- down is not all bad, but its definitely a far cry from its tenets that everyone will share in the benefits...eventually, and eventually can seem far away when someone right now is getting ahead in life because they have access and capability to use new tech...
