Geez boet, didn't you learn from your last post about your 3G dongle not working. We need info on the forums to be able to provide assistance, just asking for arbitrary advice all the time isn't going to get you much help.

Gerrit.. not all PC's on the planet are Pentiums running Windows XP. And if you cannot find the above requested specs... then i think your first forum post should rather be: " Please advice me on what steps to take to fix a slow brain. 1963 model human running Afrikaans OS. " :D

Gerrit, you should use Google to find answers to really general questions like these. Only post a thread if your problem is very specific and after you have tried a few Google searches.

Google has many links to articles about fixing slow PC's.

I refuse to offer any help to people who insist on making multiple threads on the same subject.

Defrag the hard drive and see it makes a difference.

Boot from MS-DOS 3.1 system floppy disk. Enter the following at the prompt:

That will certainly speed it up, although also liked the Gautrain idea from bekdik

This guy can be glad he is not on the Ubuntu forums, or most other tech forums, they would have torn him apart by now, you guys here are remarkably polite, all things considered. Knew I liked MyBB for a reason.
