Fixed IP

I would like to know

Is it posible for ADSL to have a fixed IP. If it is can somebody please tell me how.

I know imagine sell an uncapped with fixed ip addresses but you can get away with alot if you just set up dynamic dns

depends on what you want to do (but basically you use a hostname instead of an ip address) check if your dsl router supports it (most do) and visit someplace like www.dyndns.com

Can do the trick anyway, since you can CNAME www.yourdomain.com to yoursite.dyndns.info

join an isp that gives u web space with ur account, don't hvae to worry about using all ur bandwidth and its the isp that has to worry about keeping it up... unless u need alot of space for ur web site...

Could you explain that a bit more? Where/How do you set up CNAME? Can you do it on the free service they offer?
