Good day

When do I get my device? I have placed an order with a colleague on the 5th (Last week) up until today I haven't received the device, but my colleague has received his device on Friday last week already. Another colleague of mine who placed the order on the 4th has received an sms from the courier confirming the delivery for either tomorrow or Friday.

Last night I received ansms from Afrihost confirming that my order is being processed I should check clientzone for tracking, but client has been stuck on 'Payment verified' since the 5th October 2017, and Ram has no tracking information on the number I was given for tracking (Afrh13261).

Can someone follow up for me, because I am starting to thing that there is favouritism.

My order said the same. My payment went off today. (Payment by credit card)
I placed my order last Friday 6/6/17) was delivered yesterday.

I also can say "Digital Planet, does the delivery. (Phoned in once and online chat, result Digital Planet does delivery.)

Welcome to the forum. I also signed up on the 4th and haven't received it yet. This morning I received and sms that they were unable to get hold of me for delivery. Not holding thumbs anymore.
 
Silly question but have you guys clicked on the link that gets emailed to you for submitting Rica documents?

I didn't see it originally and it delayed my order by a few days.
 
Never received such an email. The only email I have received is about verifying the payment.

The email subject is as follows: "LTE at Home - just one more step to complete."

Who did you order through? Sorry I forgot to ask you at first. The email I am talking about is from webafrica.

I gave the documents to the courier guy (yes, they just delivered) and then he scans it with his machine and then you sign on it. Which ISP did you use?

Mine was through Afrihost.

Ahhh okay, seems that webafrica has streamlined this by providing an upload link for documentation. It is then approved and you get a notification/call regarding delivery and the only requirement is you have a valid ID/Drivers and a copy of said ID/Drivers for the driver to take back with him.
 
I signed up with Afrihost, and they should be doing the RICA when they deliver the package.
 
Recieved my router yesterday 15:00 by the time I got home an hour later the modem was active, RAM couriers scanned my POR and POI.
 
Your tracking number is nearly correct :) edit: it was correct, i do see the package was only signed yesterday afternoon so must've been the delay until it appeared on the system.

Thanks guys. I received my router this morning. It's already active, I am streaming UKtvnow already.:D
 
Unfortunately I don't have a signal at home at all (there is not coverage in my area). But at work it was working 100%.

The nearest Rain tower is about 7.1 km's. I was thinking about getting a signal booster, but the thing is there is no signal at all, so I don't know what signal I will be boosting. And the worst thing is that it seems the sim card is device locked. You can confirm Super Grandmaster.

Is there anything at all I can do so I can use the data on the sim card?
 
I have seen other people saying that they have tested the sim in other devices, so I do not thing it is device locked. Even Afrihost and Axxess are selling it with a different router now.

Unfortunately, if there is no signal, there is nothing you can do, but wait for coverage or to cancel the contract.
 
In principle if you have a powerful antenna you may be able to get some signal, but 7 km is a bit of a stretch. I don't think a typical 11 dBi antenna would manage that, but if you know someone who has one, and you point it properly, you may get lucky.

If only that was so simple...

I got my router today very excitedly only to find there is no sim card shipped with it..

I mean wtf?
