Hi,
Like the topic states: I've got a broken 650VA Proline UPS.
I broke it after I short circuit a power cord.
Its symptom is that it doesn't recognise the AC input any more, so it doesn't switch from backup power to AC power after being switched on.
I've already opened the old UPS to look for blown caps, but I wasn't able to see any. The circuit board didn't have any fuses either.
I haven't tested the relays or power resistors yet, and I'm not that keen on doing so since it'll probably take me more time to do that than the UPS is worth
Any suggestions as to what I should be looking for would be much appreciated.
I have studied Electrical Engineering, so I'm not exactly clueless at what I'm doing
