Fixing my external IP address on 3G

Hi all,

(pls excuse the double posting)

I know this has been asked before, but i can't seen to find a solution.
Is it possible to apply for a fixed IP on my 3g (vodacom or mtn).
For security reasons, i need my ip to be fixed, and I cant make use of a dyndns type jobby because the system i use only accepts IPs, not domain names.

Is this at all possible?

curdlet, have you tried to phone their business support line at 155? They are very helpful.
