Last night a clients vista profile corrupted.Well it sometimes happen, and when it does its a pain in the a$$ to repair.
There are many way to repair this and most is advanced in nature, but here is a trick if this ever happens to you..do this first
In the c drive or what ever drive the user profile was in or was corrupted you must show all hidden files and untick hide operating system files. When this is done look for a folder called found.000In this folder you must search for your profile and copy paste it back in the users folder and restart your pc.This will fix your problem quick and painless. If you have a problem with access denied just do the normal in security settings and take ownership of all files under admin.
Well i just wanted to share something that took me 2 days and a little help from a nice guy at microsoft
