Hi there,
Having a spot of difficulty installing the latest flash player here off adobe.com. Does anyone else get the "Unable to authenticate installer" error?
After some googling all I have found is a bunch of people with their own fixes which don't seem to work for me. Have tried everything from lowering security settings in IE to checking my system clock (btw..wtf?!?).
I gather that my problem...as with some others...is that I am behind a company firewall/proxy. There is simply no way I am going to go through the trouble of filling out forms and awaiting a distro version to be sent to me just for one or two PC's.
So anyone have any suggestions? Maybe what would help is if you let me know of a page that has embedded flash install because I don't know of any off-hand that doesn't simply re-direct you to adobe.com. Google just takes me to tuorials about embedding so not helping either
