Flash s4 mini

HI all

Can one flash an s4 mini I9190 XFA with a I9190 XFA firmware? Currently XFE is 4.2.2 & XFA is up to 4.4.2

Does one have to root to install, etc. I had Cynagenmod on my s3 mini for 2 days. kept crashing. Probably due to low ram as well.

The S3 mini truly is a piece of crap. The 12.1 on the S4 mini is running extremely well. So so smooth, like melted butter :D
