Yesterday I got a new 630 but it didn't take me long to brick it(first time), but it was a soft brick luckily. The hardware reset with the exclamation mark wasn't working so I had to flash it, I followed this guide from XDA. Hopefully it will help anybody who should ever encounter a similar issue.
I did try the Nokia Software Recovery Tool but it wasn't working out so good as the Nokia Care Suite.
