Flaskdisk for win98 problem

You must have the drivers for said flashdisk installed - Win98 (and ME) doesn't have the drivers, though Win2K and WinXP does.

In WinXP it is just a case of plugging the disk in, right-click on any file and selecting the 'send to' option...

Most flashdisks have a small CD with the Win98 drivers. And no, it won't work under 95...

well, there should be a directory called "sendto" in your windows folder.
theoretically, if you create a shortcut to your flash disk in that directory, it will appear in the list of "send to" items when you right-click on a file.

i'm assuming your flash disk always gets the same drive letter assigned to it, of course, otherwise it won't work... ;)

Cant do...

Windows 98 is not like Xp. You best option would be to say ctrl+C ctrl+V. I tryed to put that flash disk sort cut into the "send to" directory but every time the Pc is restared it resets it again. Not to mention the mission it was to get the right click to show the Flash disc in the "send to" tab.

thanks :)
