Flat hunting

I'm just curious, is it possible to get a flat or a share in or around a particular suburb, say Northcliff, in one month. The month being December?

I think it's not, but I have someone in my house hold claiming it is. Just how wrong is he?

yeah u can, im not sure about that suburb, but ive seen ads on gumtree where students rent thier flats out for a month or two during the vac, usually called a short term lease (1-3months)
