Flat sheets

For a long time I was under the impression that flat and fitted sheets were mutually exclusive i.e used to cover your mattress. Last night I discovered that flat sheets are supposed to go between yourself and your covers, the way hotels do it. The amount of duvets and comforters I could have saved had I known this sooner.

I assume a lot of people didn't know this either so you're welcome and share this with all your friends and family.

Lots of people don't know this. I'm not ashamed! It's not something that you HAVE to do anyway.
Some like the feeling of the covers directly on our bodies

NB: A duvet normally functions as a top sheet, i.e. one has only a bottom sheet & the duvet.

OTOH there are those that still prefer having a top sheet in addition to the duvet.

abzo, as previously discussed, get some cotton percale sheets (minimum 300 thread count) You'll thank me later.

I hate that. Keep it as simple as possible.

Fitted sheet + Duvet or Quilt-thing depending on the temperature.
